How Strydo Interns Shipped a Real AI Feature in Six Weeks

When the AI/ML internship cohort started, the brief was simple: build a feature that screens resumes against job descriptions and explains its reasoning. No team had built anything like it before.

Over six weeks, the team iterated through three model approaches — keyword matching, TF-IDF similarity, and finally a sentence-embedding model — before landing on one that balanced accuracy and explainability.

The feature now runs as a internal tool prototype, and all three interns cite the experience of debugging a real model in production as the most valuable part of their internship.
