Mastering Data Structures for Technical Interviews

Most campus interviews draw from a fairly predictable set of topics: arrays and strings, linked lists, trees, graphs, and hashing. Depth on these five areas covers the large majority of interview questions you will actually face.

Rather than grinding hundreds of random problems, pick 10-15 high-quality problems per topic and make sure you can explain the time and space complexity tradeoffs out loud, not just code the solution.

Pair your DSA prep with a project-based portfolio — interviewers consistently report that candidates who can connect data structure choices to real project decisions (e.g., "I used a hash map here for O(1) lookups in the booking system") leave a stronger impression.
